    About

Dedham Yoga is a new studio opening in the home of my Welsh grandma Harriet Mair Tahany, who named it Tegfan, which she told us meant "Happy Place" in her mother tongue.

We are taking our time with allowing Dedham Yoga to unfold organically, with a small selection of classes starting in the space this Autumn.

We will never feel completely ready.

But if we waited for everyting to be perfect before we opened, then you would be waiting a long time.

So for now, we are keeping things simple with no fancy booking system or shopfront signage yet.

All classes are by appointment only. and You can register your interest in our current offerings below.

Look forward to seeing you in our new studio soon.

    Find your happy place.

Dedham Yoga, Tegfan, High Street, Dedham CO7 6HA
Tuesdays 18:30-20:00 starting 26 September 2023 Join Lou Hart for a full 90 minute tune-up, starting with an upbeat warmup to shake off the day and prepare the body for some targeted stretching to release tension while building core strength and flexibility. The last 30 minutes is a guided relaxation yoga nidra to allow the body to assimilate all of the new information and calm the central nervous system to prepare for a nourishing nights sleep. £15 per class Everybody benefits from regular ELDOA practice. This is simply because we are affected by gravity all day long and ELDOA is the only exercise that actively addresses the negative consequences of gravity on the joints of the body. While anyone will benefit from regular ELDOA practice, we particularly recommend ELDOA for: • People with postural imbalances such as compression from sitting at a desk most of the day (which decreases blood flow to lumbar spine and hips) • People with limited range of motion • People with chronic pain, such as low back, neck, hip, spine etc. • Members of the athletic community, both recreational and professional
